Leslie joined Malta House in February 2025. She leads the development office's strategic and operational vision. Leslie's experience in executive management and frontline fundraising is extensive. She has successfully planned and executed development strategies and comprehensive plans across multiple channels. Her proven track record includes training executives and staff on the importance of key performance measurements, developing major donor and planned giving programs, implementing creative stewardship tactics, and fostering a culture of philanthropy. She has exceptional experience building high- performance teams, both in person and remotely, and has led fundraising efforts of over $ 35M, inspiring and motivating others in the field.
Before joining Malta House, Leslie held advancement positions at Dominican Academy in NYC, Maryknoll, School Sisters of Notre Dame, The Wellspring Foundation, and The Religious Institute at Sacred Heart University.
Before her transition to non-profit management, Leslie provided legal consultation in international business, real estate, and business development. This diverse background has equipped her with a unique perspective and a wide range of skills she brings to her current role at Malta House, ensuring a comprehensive approach to her work.
Leslie is a member of the Order of Malta, a lawyer, and a Certified Fundraising Executive. Her academic background includes a Juris Doctorate from the University of Connecticut School of Law and a Bachelor of Science from the College of New Rochelle. She also serves on the Board of Trustees of Foundations in Education and provides pro bono services to local non-profits.
