On Friday, March 3rd, over 215 supporters gathered for a night of fun and fundraising at Malta House's Annual "Casual Friday" Dinner at St. Ann's Club in Norwalk. The event was a huge success, with guests enjoying a delicious Italian dinner, Stew Leonard's Wine Shop wine, and exciting games like waiter trivia and a teacup ticket auction.
One of the night's highlights was the presence of over 20 "Celebrity Waiters" who"worked for tips" serving guests a four-course dinner prepared by St. Ann's Club volunteers. This unique approach to dinner service added a fun and memorable twist to the evening.
Charlie Welke of City Coast Church emceed the event, and attendees were treated to inspiring speeches from Kim Petrone, Malta House Board Chair, and Carey Dougherty, Malta House Executive Director. The program highlighted the vital work that Malta House does in supporting families in need and emphasized the impact that supporters like those in attendance can have in helping to make a difference inthe community.
Thanks to the generosity of those in attendance, the event raised over $29,000 to support Malta House and its mission. The funds raised will help provide critical resources and support to families in need, ensuring they have access to the tools and resources they need to thrive.
Donations are still welcome to support this event and its impact on the community. Visit http://cfd.givesmart.com to contribute and make a difference in the lives of those in need.
