Dear Malta House Friend,
Happy Easter!
Easter Sunday celebrates light overcoming that darkness. A time not of hopelessness but hope.
Here at Malta House, we catch something of the reality of the resurrection every day whenever we experience new life emerging from hopelessness, whether that new life is a mom who is just starting on her path to self-sufficiency or the birth of a new baby. We can see new life and hope if we look for it.
These transformations cannot happen without you walking beside us.
You provide the "Good News" stories that make Malta House the "house that love built." Just as John arrived at the tomb, he saw with his eyes and heart and knew that God had raised Jesus from the dead. And he proclaimed the "Good News" of the resurrection.
Because you care, you turn hopelessness into hope and new life – for our babies and our mothers, who now have a new life full of strength, self-confidence, independence, and hope.
Your generosity inspires us at Malta House. The support you provide means we can ensure that women and children have a “house that love built” to call home and an even brighter future ahead.
As Psalm 118:24 proclaims, "This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad."
On behalf of all of us at Malta House, we give thanks to the Lord and you for all that you make possible in this season and all others.
We wish all our Jewish and Muslim Sisters and Brothers who are celebrating special Holy days this season the same.
May God bless you and yours this Easter season.
With gratitude and heartfelt thanks,
